  • Caliper Bracket Mounting Bolt Size Selection:

Strange Kits – Previous to September of 2021 used a 3/8-24 thread / Current kits use a 7/16-14 thread. (Strange Wheel Speed Sensor w/This Spindle Requires Modifications to Spindles / Steering Arms)

TBM Kits – Previous to September 2023 used the factory 8mm x 1.25 thread / Current kits use a 3/8-24 thread.

Wilwood kits – Use a 3/8-24 thread. Note: Calipers brackets must be modified to use only 2 of the 3 bolts.  You will need to cut the forward portion of your existing caliper bracket to clear the spindle.

Aerospace kits – Use a 3/8-16 thread. You will need to source some 3/8-24 bolts to replace your existing hardware.

  • Aerospace kits that do NOT use caliper mounting bracket spacers will require that you clearance the bracket & the spindle for the bracket to mount flush to the spindle itself

Physically measuring the current bolt size you have is better than guessing.  If you cannot measure, you can choose the 8mm size, then drill and tap as you did with your factory spindles.
